Jack,
Thanks! We have just completed your mystery "Death in them thar hills," and it was a tremendous success. I have done hundreds of Dinner Theater musicals in my 30 years as Minister of Music and Arts but never a Mystery Theater. I didn't know what to expect but I needed something that was fun, easy to stage, involving lots of people (40-50) and most of all clean family entertainment. Your work was a big hit. Our people are saying "when can we do another one?" We performed the mystery in a dessert theater forum with the ladies of the church bringing the pies and cakes, everyone got into the mood by dressing up and getting into the mood of the event. The appeal was universal. All ages were present and enjoyed the evening. Because of the easy-to-follow and complete instructions, staging and production was easy and rehearsals were kept to a minimum...a blessing in the summer when all of us are busy with vacations and work schedules. Our people want to do another Mystery Theater for Valentines day. If you have something appropriate, I want to do another one of your works. Again thanks for all your help and personal attention. Sincerely,
Dr.
