Hi Jack,
Let me tell you about the party. There were about 30 family and friends in attendance. Many of us wore great costumes. I altered it a little by putting a little Christmas theme into the party with the decorations and gifts. And, I pretended that it had been several months since Dusty died and the town was getting together for a Christmas celebration and to see if the town had any more ideas since the sheriff had not found the murderer. I made the experience a very lasting one by taking my grandchildren to a costume rental house where they had a professional select just the right costume for them. Two of them had roles as suspects and four of them waited on the tables. We held the party at a BBQ restaurant. Because almost no one responded by rsvp I did not do it Buffet style and opted to have the kids take my guest's orders. Then the cooks fixed up the plates and the kids delivered them to to each guest. It did delay things and we were rushing to finish up before the restaurant closed. So, next time if I did it at the same place (only about $5 per plate with tea or soda) I would have them put the platters on one long table outside the private party room instead of the kids bringing the food in at different intervals. Anyway, the kids just loved the whole costume and party experience. My grandkids are rowdy and the way we did it kept them busy so we had no problems with wild kids. However, the guest got a bit rowdy and loud. They had so much fun they couldn't contain themselves. I would highly recommend this particular murder mystery for adults and children over the age of ten. Oops, I forgot, I had some kids who were under ten that were fine too. They dressed as elves and handed out Christmas favors, gifts, and prizes for best costumes, best suspect, best waitress/waiter, and best investigative teams. I also altered the mystery a bit by making my own hand stamped invitations. I really enjoy making handmade cards and I felt it added a bit of my own personality and tastes to the party. Everyone was raving about what a great time they had and I will probably do this at least once a year from now on. I have to compliment you on how easy you made it for me to know how to conduct this party. It was my first murder mystery ever. I have never gone to one or given one and I was a bit intimidated. But, once I read through the materials and instructions it was really easy. Everyone was asking how I found the mystery. I am attaching pictures for you. And, hope you enjoy them. I have been very please with your products (I have purchased a couple of other mysteries) and your service. Sincerely,
