Jack,
You mentioned being interested in feedback and pictures when we were done with the murder mystery ('Love Writes A Deadly Verse"). Attached is a cast photo. We had what we consider good turnouts for our event. This is a very sparsely populated area. We did it four times and had between 30 and 50 guests each night. Everyone who went absolutely loved it. One night one of our cast members was ill, so we grabbed someone at the door and asked him to fill in. He did, and he had a great time. Attendance increased each night, so we're sure that members of the audience were spreading the word and encouraging people not to miss it. One thing I want to be sure to tell you that we especially liked is the structure. We did a murder mystery once before and it had no structure to speak of. Yours spelled out what to do and when very nicely. When people are not accustomed to this type of event, they need plenty of direction. Being formed into investigative teams with some instructions as to how to conduct their investigation makes a big difference. Having a plan for rotating the suspects for questioning and providing time for additional questions at the end...all that really added to the experience. It was a big hit, and we will most certainly have a crime mystery of some kind at least once a year. We got many compliments and requests for the "next one". We are currently thinking of having one this summer. Thanks again for your part in our very successful event! Sincerely, Vicki Morrison Goble Treasurer, Pequana Playhouse Baudette, MN
