This special 1880s
murder mystery takes place near the Grand Canyon where prospector and gold
mine owner "Dusty" Jones is being honored by the residents of Cactus
Gulch.
Jones had arrived in town five years before, flat broke and
relying upon the generosity of local residents to help him get by. Today,
he is the sole owner of the
TAqIlA
mine (He named it after his favorite drink, but Dusty never could spell).
Key citizens
of Cactus Gulch have assembled to honor Dusty. Each one rises to say a few
words about him and his contributions to the community.
Then, it's Dusty's
turn. After speaking his mind, Dusty raises
a glass of Gila Gold,
his favorite brand of
tequila. He sits down and, a
few minutes later, slumps over in his chair - dead.
The
marshal then takes charge of the investigation as the suspects are
interrogated. Additional clues and key information are revealed as
everyone is asked to figure out who killed Dusty Jones.

mayor decided to seek his fortune in the West at the end of the Civil

Frequently
Asked Questions ...
How
many people can participate in this mystery?
This
mystery has two versions. The complete large-group version
is designed for a larger-than-average event ... up to 30 people can be
assigned roles. This version can easily
be used at a company or association meeting and can
be arranged in a format that accommodates
100 to 300 people. Some people prefer this version for a
"home" event because all guests can be assigned individual
roles.
The home version is designed for a group of at least 10 people (five couples).
Instructions in the home version tell you how to organize a
larger party (with roughly ten more couples) without purchasing additional material.
Does everyone
have a role?
The
complete plot in the large-group version includes 10 major
suspects AND 20 minor role players (a total of 30 individuals). You'll
need someone to play Dusty Jones (needless to say, his role will be
"short-lived"), and an additional role player, U.S. Marshal
Nate Dillman, to lead the investigation.
The home version
has 10 suspects and a method for organizing the mystery as a more
intimate event.
In both versions, everyone without a formal role becomes a deputy
who must use effective investigative
techniques to figure out the intricacies of the crime. Since the guilty
party doesn't know who did it (unless you want that person to know), everyone can attempt to solve the case.
What
will I get when I order the murder mystery?
You'll get
everything you need, including:
 Complete
instructions on how to conduct the investigation of Dusty Jones'
death.
In
the large-group version, you'll have all the information
you'll need to stage
the death of Dusty Jones in front of the group . In
the home version, the investigation takes place on
the
day after Dusty's death.
Your
guests will be assembling to remember the life of Dusty Jones. A
newspaper account in The Cactus Gulch Gazette will describe what
happened at the get-together that occurred on the previous night.
Instructions
for the U.S. marshal on how to facilitate the investigation. (Only in
the large-group version.)
Roles
for all suspects that include family backgrounds and recollections of
events that led up to the murder.
A
series of written clues that are handed out to prepare the group for the
murder mystery.
Key
supporting information that will be revealed at critical times during
the investigation.
"The
End" that is revealed at the end of the evening and ties the
event together. Remember: MOTIVE, MEANS and OPPORTUNITY will point to
the guilty party.
How
much will I pay for this exclusive whodunit?
The total
cost for the large-group version is only
$89.77.
For the home version, you'll pay
just
$39.77. AND you can download the entire mystery as soon as your credit card is
processed.
You'll
have an event that will have people talking for
years. What are
you waiting for? Order NOW!
